Broderick Road Chapel

Playgroup

This community playgroup is associated with and run by volunteers from Broderick Road Chapel. We aim to provide a friendly environment where children can grow through play and caregivers can relax and meet other people.

Play group is held in the back hall. This is accessed either up the driveway between the Johnsonville Library and the Innkeeper café, or the walkway beside the Optometrist.

What is available at playgroup

There is so much for your child to explore and enjoy!

In the hall you’ll find the water trough and painting area, there are waterproof aprons to help keep the water and paint off their clothes and towels to wipe up spills. At the craft table there is a new craft each week for you and your child to make together. Also in the hall are dress up costumes, play dough, the kitchen and shop and the BIG ride on toys.

The lounge is a quieter area with toys for babies, books, puzzles and the morning tea tables.

Morning tea is provided for children and caregivers each week. For Children there is fruit and biscuits and a drink of juice or water. There are sipper cups and straw cups available.

Times and cost

Playgroup is on every Monday morning from 9:30 to 11:15 am during the school term, breaking for holidays. We ask that you put 50 cents per child in the money box each week to help cover the cost of morning tea.
